We are the exclusive licensee for patented Oxy-Fuel Combustion Technology in India . The patents are held by Jupiter Oxygen Corporation, USA. Oxy-Fuel Combustion Technology is a method/process rather than specific equipment. Most importantly, although flame temperatures exceed 2,480°C and reach as high as 2,925°C, process temperatures have been maintained at the same levels as with conventional types of combustion without any damage to existing equipment and without the need for new materials.
The first licensee is an aluminium manufacturing company that has been using this technology since 1997. The Oxy-Fuel technology achieves both dramatic increases in process efficiency as well as remarkable environmental results.
Compared with traditional air-fossil fuel methods, the aluminium company saw an average 73% reduction in fuel usage.
The environmental effect has been equally impressive.
Since ambient air is excluded, there is a virtual elimination of NOx in the exit gases.
