This equipment is OUR SPECIALITY and has been designed and developed by ENCON for utilisation of waste heat from exhaust flue gases of industrial furnaces. The temperature of flue gases is generally of the order of 600°C to 950°C. Thus, a considerable amount of heat energy, which may vary between 35 to 42% of the heat input to the furnace, goes to the atmosphere as a total loss. A substantial part of this waste heat can be gainfully recovered by installing an ENCON recuperator, which preheats the combustion air from the escaping flue gases to a temperature of about 400°C. This results in recycling of waste heat back to the furnace and saves about 12-15% of fuel oil. Normally the PAYBACK PERIOD OF INSTALLING ENCON RECUPERATOR IS ABOUT 5-7 MONTHS.
